Default Drip drip in SE Wisconsin. Patience is a virtue. Sap attack!

Four taps--40 gallons of sap. 2.2% sugar content. Time to fire it upon Saturday. Hopefully will have 100 gallons by then.

I reside in Menomonee falls--NW of Milwaukee. This is my fourth year and most unique year so far. It's funny how this hobby continues to become more exciting and more anticipated each year.
Sugar content is still great. I have tapped two sugars and one giant silver. It's great to have a forum for this. Good luck this year!

Pulled in 300 gallons off 450 trees yesterday. Got a late start with the pumps but I did better that the guy with 1200..............................:y ahoo:

Farms,
Under Haynes signature block is an underlined line that says "location". Click on that and it shows exactly where he is on a map. That may be what he was referring to when he hinted about where you were.....

It's dripping today. looks like a good few days

2012 & 2013 2 X 6 evaporator and 230 taps
2014 2 X 6 smokey lake raised flue and a new shack
2015 330 taps on gravity and 50 bags
6 kids 4 smaller sap suckers

Were up to 550 trees and pulled in 600 gallons at 33 degrees and sunny.
