Default Shurflo pumps

I was reading some posts on these shurflo pumps. I have several areas separate from my main vacuum areas. 25 to 150 tap range. Does anyone know the tap min. to justify installing a shurflow system. I also watched one on youtube but was for 175 taps. Was also set up on solar. One area I can get electric to it the other 2 areas I am currently thinking about have no electricity, the one is actually at a neighbors that I want to tap. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

. I bought one or these and bought a 1/2 female pvc threaded. I am hooking it to my surflo with 5 lines hooked to it. The 6th 5/16 line will be in the tank to keep a steady flow and help creat more vacuum. I hope Im doing this right.

You may want a restrictor in the re-circulation loop, it only needs a little. You can even restrict that loop by placing a board on each side and use screws thru the boards to pull then together, it is even adjustable tighten or loosen as needed.

Shurflow pumps can be run by 120V or 12V. For 12V you will want a deep cycle battery. I can't address how many taps it taks to make it worth using a pump, just that, with a pump you will almost double your production. If this area has a good drop, like what you talked to me about before, skip the pump and use 3/16 with 25 taps/line +/- about 5 is best. This will work well in year 1, then clean the tubing after the season and again shortly before freeze up next fall and you will get almost as much, but not quite. If you don't properly clean the lines you will do better by far if you change the tap, drop tubing and the tee for next year. I like to use 5/16 drops on my 3/16 laterals, using a 3/16 x 3/16 x 5/16 T to attach the drop.
