Default Tee's VS Wye's - Main to Branch Line

Happy Fall everyone. Been in the woods working now that it's not 100 degrees. The woods were initially set up as old school gravity. We've upgraded and added vacuum. We're upgrading again and it's time to start adding actual branch lines. When adding perpendicular main/branch lines should we use a Tee or a Wye?

Thanks

Use a Y. Sap entering the main line at an angle creates less turbulence than if entering at perpendicular.
