Default DSD adaptors with CV spout.

Anyone try this? I have gotten confirmation that the CV fits very tight in dsd adaptor taps. This interest me for two reasons, being 90% solo I can cut back on tapping time, get 2 seasons out of a CV tap. I don't suspesct the ball would hold up for 3 seasons, so a rotation of new CV year one, CV/dsd adaptor year two, new CV year three. Anyone try this yet? I'm interested in the results.

No experience here. I like your idea tho. I would add a new cv and drop in year 3 myself.

wouldn't you still have "gunk" in the CV that you could not clean out?
SO even with new end the "gunk" would still be on the tree side of the ball.

I like your thinking but just not sure how this will help.

My concern would be if that ball is still operational. Seems like many years when pulling taps that either the end pops off or the ball is gunked up and not operational.

The balls at the tip, so the gunk would be on the drop side not the tap side.I would suspect it be far more beneficial with this setup than a stubby that's been used for years and years with a new spout attached to it.
