Default Milking Pump Help

Does anyone know anything about this pump? The person selling it doesn't have any info on the model or specs. I was looking to run about 100 taps on approximately 800' of tubing.

Show us some more views, from more angles. All I can tell from that view is that it's likely a vane pump. Open it up and see if the vanes move freely.
Vane pumps if given enough oil flow can achieve 20"+ but as they were designed, they are made for 15". It will need a releaser to dump the sap from the system, and a moisture trap to protect the pump. start looking for a used smaller releaser in good condition. My first moisture trap was homemade. I then went with Ed Sobles traps, Esobles in our classifieds. He sells moisture traps for $200.

If both of those end up being a budget breaker, look into a diaphragm pump, they need no releaser nor moisture trap. Bosworth is a good source for those, just decide if it will be electric or battery powered. If battery, you need 2 deep cycle batteries, one running the pump while one is charged. Depending on the pump you can go at least 1 day on a charge and sometimes 2 days, but don't drain the battery below 50% state of charge or the battery will die much faster. On a flooded lead acid battery it should be charged to 14.2-14.4V and it is at 50% when used down to 12.2V. Then it must be recharged soon. If used below that voltage it will die a premature death.

Kind of looks like a conde pump to me.
On the non belt side if it's a conde you should be able to take off the side plate and see if the vanes are in good shape. They are probably a carbon cane.
Can easily run 100 taps. If you going above 20 in hg you better have a fan on it to keep it cool.

I ended up purchasing it. after I got it home and removed the grease and oil I found out it is a Conde pump. I'm not sure of the model it says 16C on one end and 15C on the other.

I have a Conde Pump I picked up as a spare a few years ago, the main body looks similar but the extras look nothing like that. I've never used it, it was just as an emergency extra. Sorry, I didn't recognize it.
