NY snowmobile clubs have been converting chevy Blazers over to a track system for quite a few years now. Pretty strange riding down a trail and see a blazer pulling a trail groomer.

Be sure if they put this in production, it will be something very well made. AD boivin is recognize in snowmobile industries for high quality suspensions, used by racers. as for other products, patent pending prevent giving all informations..

i think market for these will be power lines maintenance, and remote area drilling...

I am familiar with AD boivin, i always wanted a Snow Hawk. Funny that design has not changed for many years but snowmobiles and starting to mimic the Snow Hawk / motorcycle design.
This is the first track set i have seen that the truck tires were not removed to install the tracks. I wish they would have show the instillation though.

Back when my brain was just a little smaller than it is now I spent alot of money with Ad Boivin on the best shock and track suspension upgrades. Man I remember the looks when my buddies seen those Gold shocks with the remote shock dampener settings. They indeed make some top of the line stuff. Heck I still ride that sled as its all suped up and those shocks I put on in 2002 are every bit as good as the new ones today. Nothing like dialing in your shocks and pulling the ski's 4 feet off the snow going through an intersection and everyone staring at you with there jaws hanging out of there helmets. . Then some quick clicks and you loaded the suspension to corner through the trails as fast as you could passing all your buddies along the way. Suddenly I miss winter.

Hmmmmmm made a mistake, my shocks are Ohlins not Ad Boivin. It was still fun though! Heres a couple photos of some of the local trail groomers. Those tracks are pretty cool! The tires cant be sitting on the tracks either cause they would rotate the opposite direction. Curious what the tires contact and how the wear and tear is on them.
