Default Logistics/Traveling

I often think about setting up a a section where people would be able to post their future trips within the maple region where they could coordinate the delivery of stuff. For example, when Angela and I made our trip out east last fall, we returned home with an empty truck and trailer. I would have been happy to deliver anything that fit, free of charge, to anyone on my route home. Example two, there is a sheet metal carrying devise that I need which is located in CO. If I knew of someone that would be driving from CO to WI in the near future we could coordinate this delivery. Am I just crazy or could there be a area on here where we could post out upcoming trips? This would also be a great way to meet more people here.

Hey Jim I know just the guy. I agree with the idea I'm forever going back and forth with a trailer. Plus when you go through Illinois with an empty trailer they make you pay tolls on the capability of what the trailer could hold and charge you.

Great idea. Perhaps you could also use it to let maple people who are coming to your neighborhood know they are welcome to stop in for a visit and refreshment!

I'm game for this. I make trips from Milwaukee to Wausau now and then.
