Default Truck Dump - My Maple Journey

After reviewing the dump stations posted on this site and MT I come up with my own verison. All the matiials are salvage except the pump and plumbing. THe frame is a bedframe and some 2" tube from the salvage yard. I'm not getting any younger so to reduce the amount of effort needed I decided to recess the sink. I also put a cutout for the buckets. I'm able to put (2) buckets in the cutout and open the tailgate.

It's set up to pump into a tote in the back of my truck. I installed camlock to get some flexibility. If I hook up my tote discharge line to the inlet camlock and connect the outlet to my holding tank I can use the bilge pump empty the truck tank.

Nice job well thought out and will make your collection a lot more fun.

2 things I would consider is a simple screen set up to stop the big chunks from getting into the tank. Two straps from bumper to corner of rack to keep the twisting from side to side. I have a few of those racks and it helps stabilize them. Let me know how drilling into bed frame works for you..........I just made a ATV rack and drilling it was a mess.
