Default New Deer Run RO

Tuesday I got home with my new Deer Run 125. Sitting in garage looking at the new shiny reading the instructions over and over. I believe a well built piece of equipment. Now having to wait for the sap to run,,,,, which, down here, could be only about 6 weeks or so from now. I hope for later and not like last year, 2-3 days then a wait for 3-4 weeks for another 2-3 days.

I know not a Cadillac, but who started out with new car,,,,,,,,, most of us bought an old used car for what we could afford to make payments on flipping burgers or whatever was out first income.

Sugarbush Ridge, congratulations. PM me your email address and I'll email you a translation of Ray's hand written manual.
When I got my Deer Run 250 I sat down and typed out Ray's manual, with editing for a little clarity. I have it indexed to help find sections.
You will enjoy boiling concentrate, lots of time and wood saved.

I got about 200 gallons of sap today. Just enough for me to try out new RO and play with it. Took the 200 down to about 55 gallons. 2% to 5%. looking at about 125 gallons of permeate that I don't have to boil away

Congrats on the R.O. and you should have more time to gather more sap now!
Rays place is about a hours drive from us. Nice guy to have in our maple business!
Regards,
Chris
