Default Pondering building a bigger better R/O.

I'm going to build a new R/O this winter with an 8" membrane. Couple questions.
1. Which membrane? Seems like there are more options with the 8" membrane than the 4". I still want to stay with a low psi membrane like an XLE. What are the pro's using?
2. Best source for housings?
3. Does anybody have any experience with Axeon Housings? They have options for end or side inlets.

We have a mark E8 and it does about 390 gallons of 2 percent sap per hour and gives us 90 gallons per hour of 8 percent concentrate when clean. That's with 5hp pressure pump and a 3hp recirculation pump on a Coster B300

Question? What is a coster b300? The only r/0 I've ever looked at is the one I built so I'm not real sure how the recirculation is plumbed. I will take a peak at a real before I start this one.

What's the pros/cons when having 1 8" membrane vs 3 4" membranes ? Less plumbing and space saving would be a couple but what about cost? Are flow rates close to the same in that example ?

1-8" should be equivalent to 4-5 four inch
