Default Eastern Ontario Sap Status?

So how's the sap running (or not running) in Eastern Ontario? Based on what I see, and the variability of the weather which seems all too normal now...this may be my last year on buckets. I need sap, asap. :)

I tapped on Sunday-Tuesday and there's a few half full buckets out there, but most are fairly empty. Next week is looking more promising.

Just curious how others are doing.

160 taps 95 on pipeline, 65 buckets
Monday-47 Gallons
Tuesday-94 Gallons
Wednesday-67 Gallons
Thursday-Didn't collect as the buckets were nearly empty, maybe 20 gallons on pipelines.
It seems that the trees were tired and needed a break after running for nearly two days straight. With the zero temps. last night and some forecasted sun they might produce today.

Temperatures aren't hitting right for gravity but I understand the vac folks in Eastern are doing very well.

I'm going to look into vacuum for next year. Buckets have never worked out well on my property. Lots of Silver Maple, standing water (frozen now) and tough access. Buckets are getting to be too much work. I have some trees that are high/dry and those buckets are almost full. Most trees back in the 'swamp' have yet to start. I suppose if the tree is warming up, but the roots are frozen solid, it'll take some time yet to get things moving.

So with the 20 gallons I thought was in containers there was only another 10 gallons today. There was a lot of buckets that had very little in them so it wasn't a productive day. Tomorrow the winds are 25-30km from the SW so I'm not holding much hope for it being productive either.

Done boiling for today and everything cleaned up. Sap is just pouring out of the trees right now and I expect the same for tomorrow.

Things are running great here now. Yesterday's flow was really good, with similar weather today. Should be boiling soon. Still some slow starters deep it in the bush, but they should be starting to warm soon.
