Default Sap Bag Source

I thought I would try out a few sap bags this year. Anyone know where I can pick some up?

I haven't seen them from any of the usual Quebec suppliers but I know Leader has no problem shipping to Canada - Sap Buckets and Bags for Collecting Maple Sap

Default Bag in a Box

I use the "bag in box" type used for wine in a box. My maple equipment dealer sells them, but you can find sources online if you Google bag in box. Some designs do require a plastic washer to keep tap from pulling through the hole. I have been using them for (3) seasons now and really like them, no holder needed!

Timberwolf, do you reuse them, if not I guess they can be recycled? I prefer not to have to place a plastic washer, so what type of bag would these be? I see some on eBay that are for Coke, Dr Pepper but don't know if washer would be required.

I've got stainless steel sap sak holders for $5 each. I need to post a classified ad, just been too busy.

Mine are bags for wine in a box. Washer is not that big of a deal. I use for one season then pitch, no way to clean good enough. I like the fact a frame is not needed just the bag, washer and tap.

Did a search for wine bags, and couldn't find anything. Where do you get yours?

My equipment dealer carries them. Try searching for bag in box.
