Default Just one more thing before I go

I made a pledge that if a certain thread was not removed from the site that I would take some time off. I plan on keeping that pledge. I could go on and on with all sorts of points and counter points about why I think leaving the thread up is a mistake.

I asked Bryan to leave my Phone number and Email address up on the site for a while so if anyone would like to get back to talking about Maple Syrup feel free to call or send me an Email.

Chuck Haynes 303-810-5501 Email cethaynes@aol.com please put your SBI name so I don't dump you as spam.

I wont be back on the site and will be closing down my account. Thanks for the fun.

Take care, Chuck. It is unfortunate, but I have to admit you are doing what I have been considering for a while now.

It is too bad it has come to this. I enjoy all of the input from all of the members but as most others have noticed the site has changed some. This site had always been more of a family type atmosphere with a little off topic discussion along with a wealth of knowledge. Chuck was one of the main people who gave this site it's identity. I do not know or care to know all of the background history with everyone but hopefully we can all learn something from this. Chuck will be missed and hopefully return some day to lighten our day.

Sorry to see you go Chuck, but a man has to do what his heart tells him is best. I will be staying around as I still have much to learn. I'll put it this way......I wouldn't plow up my front yard because I found a dog turd in it, I'd walk around the turd until it washed away and just became fertilizer. Time is a wonderful healer so here is a salute to you Chuck and in time we'll enjoy your post again.

Chuck has not left, he has logged in everyday and also got what he asked for and his thread deleted. Why he is letting this thread carry on I have no idea.
