Default Syrup overseas

The wife and I just got back from a trip to Ireland and Scotland. Spent the days touring around driving on the opposite side of the road (keep left, keep left, keep left - whoops, went right) and staying at B&Bs throughout the country. Even though I'm not Canadian, it was cool to see they all had pure Canadian syrup available at each stop during breakfast. Nothing like white and black pudding topped off with some of the sweet!
