Default New TOY....I mean tool

Well I decided I needed to move away from using my ATV as a tractor. I do trail maintenance and a lot of other tasks so I pulled the trigger on a Kubota tractor. I was at the dealer looking at new ones and after walking around I asked if they had anything used. Turns out they had a BX2370 that had 19 hr's on it. He told me a Lady had purchased it and it was too much for her so it was on consignment. The unit has the quick hitch set up along with forks and snow plow along with the standard bucket set up. The snow plow has a few scratches on it I ordered the 60" mower deck for it so I will be having some fun this summer.

Haynes:
You will love it! Nothing I like better than hopping on my Massey 1529 on a Friday night with a big highball, driving around surveying my domain. After the old Ford 8n for 20 years I figured I deserved a modern tractor. Best thing I ever did.
The ATV is great but there is work you have to have a tractor for.
These diesels they have now days start at -20 without even plugging them in. The little 3 cylinder Izeki in mine has run flawlessly for the last 4 years. Burns almost no fuel. Of course the bucket is indispensable .
Yep, I need a set of forks for those cage tanks! Next purchase.
Enjoy the Kubota, nice purchase!

Nice.

Will this will require a larger trailer, or a second story on the current trailer so you can get it back and forth?

Thanks for the encouragement guy's. My nephew has a larger Kabota and works it to death and only has problems with the front seals ripping up letting water in so I need to be carful. He said that overloading the bucket/forks is a no no. Does anyone have a canopy over theirs.

I have a 73" X 14' trailer and will see if I can get the tractor and the ATV on it. Im sure I wont have anything else to bring back and forth. OH CRAP forks, bucket and the snow plow yea I need a bigger trailer.

The real question is how fast can it go down the highway?

I don't think Ill get any speeding tickets on it. I might want to complete the roll cage system for my style of driving.

Sounds like a bigger truck is in your near future as well. 1/2 ton aint gonna cut it no more.

My F150 has plenty of power. I pull trailers of all kinds from a 4x6 ATV to a dump trailer that weighs 3500 pounds . Now when I'm ripping thru town with 12,000 lbs. of road base the tow haul button comes in handy. Having the load balanced and tied down and good electric brakes is key. Then the is the fact that most times your strapping your trailer to your equipment......................
