Default Old Maple Tins

I've been looking for something to add to the sugarhouse for decoration/conversation . Does anyone have knowledge about old ( think Haynes/Ogdens) maple tins? I've seen some on ebay and figured the tins with no bar code and list of ingredients must be somewhat older? Some of the tins are expensive but nice artwork . Any ideas on where to buy them? Thanks.

Are you referring to old metal syrup cans? We thru out a lot of cans over my lifetime, wish we still had a bunch of the early ones.

I am amazed how good Craigslist works for us, even when we are asking for free stuff.

There are probably a lot of folks who have a couple here and there kicking around the old barn. Maybe even some other items that you can't live without.

Yep, look at some of those prices on eBay. Of course they can ask anything .

I may try that Tony. I would think you east coast guys would have better luck than us here in Mi.

I have decorated my shack with some old outdated pieces of equipment. I like the old useless things like SKIMMERS and SCOOPS. I'm still looking for a hand pump off a filter press to round out the list.
