The super odd thing I noticed is there is NO SNOW? Odd. We have a good 6" of compacted stuff here. Maybe more in the woods. Got A LOT done today. Fixed the blower hook up to ductwork, will install it on ash pan tomorrow. Got ALL of the correct fittings….(I have a new appreciation for plumbers!) washed and sanitized everything that I could find! Went to Andersons for my sap sacks and whatnot. Tomorrow is another marathon. I want to be READY when the time comes…is that possible? I think not

We have about 1 to 2 inches in the woods, none in the open. Suppose to get a little this week. You must get alittle more lake effect than I.
Everything is pretty much ready to go.

Did I mention nature as a way of evening things out. 12-15 inches tonight predicted and weather holding in the 20's . Maybe my diary's are correct the 15th of March is when it starts around here.
Off for the month of march and 1/2 of April

We're expecting a good snow here too Woodsman, not sure how much yet, just hoping for a snow day on Wednesday. I have been tweeking a lot of the stuff that we put up this year, hood, blower, you name it. My list is getting shorter by the day. Good feeling. I have been keeping an eye on several weather sites, not sure which one to believe, as they are all a bit different. I really like Intellicast and NOAA. So far, they seem the most accurate, with that being said, it looks like mid March fo me too. The winter seems to be evening out, looking like more normal temps and precip for March. Go figure. I really want to try and not jump the gun and tap too early, so far, some of the guys out east are getting a slow down due to the weather turning more normal.
