Lost Woodsman,
I didn't think the BBQ was TOO bad. They just forgot to put a dash of Maple Syrup in it.
Think I"m kidding?? Try it!!
Got the woods platform for the new (vacuum pump-releaser-bulk tank) shack decked with 3/4 tongue and groove plywood today. Came out square!! Now to see about that guy who can move the 12X16 building onto it.

OK does the word Sikorsky helicopters ring a bell. If you look at my Avatar you will see the smaller section of my sap shack . We moved that on a Sunday at 5AM without permits just a long pole for power lines. We cross braced the thing and put two Ironwood logs under it as skids and pulled it onto a beaver tail trailer and away we went It was all country roads.

Yeah, had a plan all worked out to assemble a special built trailer inside it and hook on with the 3 point of my farm tractor.. I ran it by the sheriff (friend of ours) and he said if it is more than 12 wide and we see you on a county or state road (town road is OK) we will have to relieve you of $2600. Over 12 feet needs a commercial vehicle and a CDL and all that stuff that goes with Commercial Vehicle.. I only need to go about 1 and 1/2 miles on the county road but decided probably not risk it.. Local Mennonite said about $250-$300. He gets it on 4X4s and winches it onto a roll-back trailer. And he said he would take a check.....

And it certainly won't bother him if he has to leave a few fingers pinched between the 4x4s and the building...

I would be surprised if he didn't have insurance--he does this kind of thing a lot.
