Default starting slowly

I have been having some small slow runs. Cindy, Ifinally collected 100 gallons onThirsday and boiled Friday, another 95 and boiled Saturday. Yesterday got 82 gallons to boil today.
Still waiting for a good run.
Mike, I actually ended up with 300 taps out so if they really cut loose I will be boiling until July. I am pretty happy with my rig. I am pretty consistently getting 15 to 20 gallons an hour out of it.
Having fun, hope everyone else is doing well.

Default getting better

Things seem to be speeding up (slowly). I collected 115 gallons last night and 75% of my trees were dripping fast. Should get interesting later this week.

It's finally picking up here too. Going to collect tomorrow and finally boil. Tapped some trees today and an hour later several had a three inches. My shaded bush still hasn't taken off yet but I'm collecting sap so no complaints.

I'm in sawyer just outside of cloquet. I was going to collect and boil today but the wind is blowing like crazy and figured the bags would fare better with sap in them. I don't think they'll overfill in today's weather, though a few were getting close.

Default snow!

We got dumped on with at least 14 inches of new snow. This is going to make my muddy trails interesting. I think we are in for huge runs for at least the next few days. Have fun!

We got quite a bit of snow. My trees woke up for a day, and now my bags are frozen half full and taps are dry. Sap must've ran til they froze as many of my taps have sapcicles hanging from them. Hope it warms up tomorrow. Leo did you get any sap yesterday or today or did you freeze up too.

Default Huge runs coming!

Hi, everything froze solid and about 15 inches of fresh snow here. I boiled 170 gallons on Thursday and finished apprx 14 gallons of medium amber yesterday. Trees dripped for about 2 hours yesterday. I think we are in for HUGE runs this week. Hang on, its gonna be a big sap week.
