Default Maple Mustard

Been making maple mustard since the end of October.
Thanks to MFarmall for sharing his recipe and some experimenting I think we have it.
I can't make enough of this stuff!!!!
Tastes pretty good I think.

Here is the recipe that 3%Solution shared with me….
use equal amounts of French's Mustard and syrup

*heat syrup to 250*, slowly, and do not stir
*use a sliver of butter if necessary to keep the foaming down
*at 250* stir in mustard and keep stirring until color changes,
*then stir some more!
*Heat back to 185* while stirring

I think that's it

3%?


I may try this with some coarse stone ground mustard this season

GramaCindy, the mustard gets addicting with pretzals and french fries, ask 3% about the fries at the Pumpkin Show.
