Default Maple covered peanuts\cashews

So just before Christmas I made maple peanuts and cashews. I read through all the posts here and there is a ton of info on how this is done and it really is quite simple. The peanuts I tried first because they were the cheapest. They came out great and half the family liked them over the cashews. Now the cashews came out perfect and they were a hit as well. With the cashews I added sea salt over the top of the nuts before pouring the syrup. Now the vast majority said they liked the cashews more because of the salt. Now I am thinking when I make the next batch of peanuts I am going to add the sea salt and see if that makes a difference. Thanks guys for all the info and for the guys that haven't tried this you really should.

Made some more nuts yesterday. They turned out great. But I figured since I had all the stuff out I should try making maple mustard. Wow is that great with pretzels. A coworker destroyed an 8 ounce container of it in record time. Who know you could turn your back and 15 minutes later half the container disappears.

Yes maple coated nuts are a good selling item.

I found that maple mustard is a hard item to sell, but once they taste it, it becomes an easy sell.

The maple mustard I basically gave that a try for my wife's uncle he really gets into all the different types of flavored mustard. Well now I am going to have to get him a jar and let him sample some. I have no doubt it will be a hit.
