Default Wireless bridge

You can install either an Engenius ENH 202 or ENH 500 at your sugar house to bridge your wireless signal from your house to your shack. ENH 202 is 2.4G and ENH is 5G signal.

200 ft of open space is well within the capabilities of any off the self wireless access point. Just do not set it directly next to things like windows, walls, file cabinets, or other hard flat surfaces.
As a network engineer, I would caution against electrical wire network extenders.

If you are familiar with networking at all I would recommend this unit. Mount it on the outside of the building where your internet is located. The nice thing is that it is Power over Ethernet so you just run a Ethernet cable and a separate power cable is not needed. My shack is about 200 feet from my house(where my internet comes in) and it works great. I do IT for a living but would not say that the setup on this unit was terribly hard. There are obviously factors that can hurt a wireless signal as well that can come into play depending on the environment it is placed in.

Sorry no link here, I don't have link posting privileges I guess until I post a couple more times

Here is the name of the unit, you can get it on Amazon.

Ubiquiti PicoStation M2HP 2.4GHz 802.11g/n High Power Access Point

Sorry about that zimmermg. It's one of many anti-spam measures we have in place to keep the message boards clear of junk. As you mention, a couple posts and you will automatically have full privileges on the message boards and replies to this thread also count.
