Default new vacuum pump set up

Started a new vacuum pump set up today. I reworked a upright compressor tank to horizontal to mount a 2HP motor with a Gast oil vane pump. I plan on mounting it all on top of the tank. I will convert the pump to flood oil. I removed the pulse oil set up and will flood the intake with oil and meter smaller amounts into the bearings. I plan on recirculating 15 gallons of oil from the pump into the tank and back through a spin on oil filter back to the pump. everything has been laying around in the way so its time to get it going so I can get it back to Wisc. soon.

That is pretty much how the manufactured ones are made, let us know how it works. I will be interested in how much vacuum it will make.
