Default AUF homemade grate

I was curious the best hole size for 180 cfm blower. It's not going to be grates but a manifold that sits under the grates in the ash pan. More smaller holes or less bigger holes. 2x7 arch and 28 inch firebox.

Thanks

unless its a high pressure blower the bigger the holes in the manifold the better.

Agree, tried that approach, ended up directing 2 - 2 inch exhaust elbows into the fire box. AUF homemade grate-img_2454.jpg
