Default Drawoff tank fitting

I have someone making a drawoff tank for me but I need to supply the fitting to hook up a filter press. It's a simple, 1/2" NPT female fitting as seen on other drawoff and finishing tanks. The problem is I can't seem to find the part online. Most are couplers or reducers.

Does anyone know what it's called or where I could get one?
Nothing like waiting until the last minute to get this done!!!
Thanks

Should be able to find a coupling local. If you want shorter like the previous post, cut it in half. Should be quicker than ordering.

You end up with a spare when you cut the coupler in 1/2. BUT don't let the guy weld it on backwards.

If you think you want a half inch, I'd go 3/4" or even 1" and then bush it down. That way, if you decide later that a size or 2 bigger might be better, you cah just remove the bushing. My draw off tank has a 1" half coupling welded on and it remains 1" all the way to the filter press. If the syrup in that hose gets cold, 1" is easier for the filter press to pull thru than 1/2" even though the pump may only be 3/8 or 1/2".

Maplemaniac NPT fitting are a Taper fitting so if you cut the coupler in half and weld it on backwards you wont get the male threads to thread into it.

Thanks everyone! I had been looking up couplers but since they are threaded at each end I was concerned it wasn't the right part and I would have to cut it in half. A bung (for my bung hole???) is exactly what I was looking for.

3rd, I actually found and ordered it before reading your post... And I did go up a size to 3/4" thinking I could reduce it if necessary.

The filter press has a 1/2" hose with fitting.
