What size coupling nuts are you using to make your 3/4" and the 1" tools?

Pipe couplings might work as well or better. Nuts would have to be big and cost more

You will want to go to a steel pipe collar that is one pipe size bigger than what you are working with. ( 1" coupler for 3/4" pipe)

Or not. Someone posted on the other site that theirs uses collars of the same size pipe.
