We got our board insulation from Bascom. Seemed to be the most competitive prices we could find.

I found that to be true myself, and used Bacom's before last year. and ordered three more sheets this year when I upgraded. I paid $10.50/sheet, plus $18 shipping. and it is up to $11/sheet now.
I checked one of the sources I have saved in my bookmarks, and suggest you consider this. I am quite sure the Bascom's board is 1900 deg. Refractory Depot is nearly half the price, but you may need to buy a carton of 16 sheets. Shipping is a problem, and one reason I have used Bascom's is I can drive there round trip for about $15.
Here is a link with a product list. You should be good with the first one, 1900 deg mineral wool, which is what the Bacom's is. They also have blanket. They are located in Collegeville, PA
Refractory Depot, Inc. - the Refractory Broker for specialty monolithics, refractories and brick products.

If you need it fast, beware. After your order is paid for, your calls for tracking will not be answered or rerurned. More like screened and directed to vm. When I did receive my order, it was direct shipped from ceramsource.com. not sure if you can direct purchase from them or not.

After further review, I would not be enthusiastic in dealing with Refractory Depot. I have a personal policy of not buying from anyone who does not have a street address. P.O. Box is unacceptable. Something wrong with someone not willing to be face to face with customers.

Having a PO box doesnt mean they dont always not want face to face interaction. Setting up a PO box with a shipping company like UPS or Fed-Ex has some great benefits to some business owners and can cut there overhead cost as well. Setup in such a way can give you a complete shipping and receiving department. Its not for every business but is certainly an advantage for some.

I will have to say the price was good... and I eventually got my blanket, but it was only after I had to scramble to get my arch lined via other means so I could process sap. For me, if I paid for something, and you didn't deliver as you said you would, and I end up in vm every time I call with no returned call, I will take my business elsewhere.
