Default ? about arch front

I'm building a 2x8 airtight arch and need advice on making the arch front. The door is the biggest concern.
Hinges? Making them or purchasing?
Making everything airtight?

Any and all advice will be appreciated.

Check out my thread "the dragon" lots of pics and descriptions. I built almost all from scratch and I am defiantly not that talented.

Thought about it, as well as around the other air manifolds, I just could never find the stuff. I use 2" of ceramic blanket to help seal the door.
