Default Double the fun

I wanted to get my rate up for 2014 and make life simpler, all equipment was home built, scrounged or salvaged.

- new 18 x 36 Flue Pan w/ 5 inch V's, total pan area is now 84" x 18"
- extend arch 36"
- overhead temp display for front 18" x 12" finishing pan and outlet of middle 36" x 18" divided pan
- forced air pipe fire grate (did not melt or bend at all)
- 8x8 deck to sit on and keep out of the muck with two posts to set beer on
- 2x 500L stainless tanks courtesy to a " You Brew " gone out of business

Evap rate went from 10 in previous years to just under 20 this year without any increased wood consumption.

Default Double the fun

In the usual last minute pre season panic I slapped together a solution for the fire leaking, knuckle burner of a door I had.

Hopefully the blanket holds up. A coat of paint would help.
