Default Wood Boiler Conversion

I'm converting my work shop heater to a 2 x 6 evaporator. It's still below zero in WI BUT the season is coming fast. I intend to add AOF and AUF. It took about 8 hours of thinking and cutting to open up the unit so I can start putting it back together.

OK,
Lots of moves to get that to accept a 2 x 6 pan. But looks like you have a good shop and sap is not flowing. A ramp section on the back and you should be heading in the right direction.
How is the pan coming along?
The details of getting AOF system in place takes some time too.
I like the blower you got that should work.
Regards,
Chris

Default Conversion Update

Finally got some time to post an update. Here's the AOF and AUF system. I was able to plumb into the exist draft system for the AUF. For the AOF I'm going to use the shell as a plenum so I don't need to plumb each nozzle.

My 2" stainless ball valves may be a little overkill. They were cheap and dirty - they cleaned up nice BUT they were not longer food grade!

The float pan and autodraw are 80% complete - waiting for pans.

Man I really need my pans - they were supposed to be done 2 weeks ago - he promised me this Friday! I'll attach the ramp in the next couple of days. I'll be tapping and setting up at the same time.
