Default 5/16 line spinner

What do you get when you put together a piece of plywood and an old bicycle wheel? A new spinner for your lateral lines.

The top nut on the wheel has a washer welded to it. I made a hook, 3/16 rod, to connect to the washer and the main line so it can hang from it, if needed.

Works great.....

Nice looking work! The only problem I can see is the top of the roll may tip over creating a mess. I would extend the vertical pieces up enough that they are above the top of the roll.

Actually I removed the center piece, I found it was unnecessary. I ran 6 rolls of tubing with it on Saturday without issue. It spins very easily I was more worried of it creating a birds nest......

I have experimented with a few Ideas. I would put a top on it because when it does get tangled its a *****. I get the Idea you set the spinner down and walk the woods where I attach my first tap saddle and walk to the mainline weaving between trees. Trip over a stick and everything hits the ground and you have a mess.
