Taken from their new website... Dealer Open House June 20, 2014, We are planning to have a dealer open house for informational purposes on at our facility in Topeka, IN. Many of our production models will be on display with an demonstration on the Extreme Heat Wave. We expect Lisle Merle from Merle Maple will be on hand to demonstrate the art of candy and maple cream production. Additionally we will have a full course home-cooked meal. Please RSVP Sunrise Metals

The 2014 Annual Meeting of MMSA will be on Saturday January 18 at the Doherty Hotel in Clare. Featured speaker is Mike Farrell of Cornell University with other speakers doing several break-out sessions throughout the day. Lunch is provided as a part of the registration fee and a variety of vendors will also be exhibiting their products. The Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy is searching for used equipment to ‘beg, borrow, or buy’. Any ven-dors or producers who could be of help in this particular effort to support maple syrup production are asked to contact: Gary Stauffer at gary.jane@charter.net (phone: 231-668-3037) or Nate Richardson at nate@gtrlc.org (phone: 231-929-7911). All American Maple Outfitters in Holcomb, WI is having they're open house on October 26th.* They will be having several seminars throughout the day and will present guest speaker Brad Gillian of Leader Evaporator.* There will be a 5% cash and carry discount on all in stock new equipment and a 10% discount on all GBM brand evaporators, pans, and bag holders.
