Default Cooking In Missouri

I been cooking. I've cooked about 20 gals syrup so far in spite of the pan scorching and clean up. The sap flow had been off and on. Haven't had a real good run as there is still a lot of ice in ground and calling for some more cold this week and then warn again. My best sap run was on a day it got to 68 degs. In spite of the cold hard,,,, for me,,,, winter the sap is running about the same sugar as usual,,,,, about 1 3/4%
